Really, really, really slow. Out-of-sequence scenes peeled back layers of Matt Damon's character's life, but I couldn't quite figure him out. Maybe that was the point. A good plot after all, if you could sit through the slowness and follow the changing timeline. And what was the point of the scene with Joe Pesci?
